EXETER, NH -- The East Coast Wizards head north to New Hampshire for the 5th and final league-wide showcase of the season in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). Heading into the showcase the Wizards own a record of 14-15-4 in their first 33 games, and they will take on Team Maryland (15-16-3) today and the Philadelphia Little Flyers (16-14-2) tomorrow.
"We're looking forward to the showcase, and playing in front of all the NCAA coaches and scouts," said Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer. "Each matchup will bring a different test to the table, with a pair of teams that are just like us, and trying to battle their way up the conference standings."
Each matchup is the first respective meeting of the season between the Wizards and the Mid-Atlantic Conference foes. This past year, the Wizards beat Maryland and lost to the Little Flyers in the only meetings with the respective opponents.
Tonight's game is scheduled for 8:00pm, while tomorrow's contest will get underway at 12:30pm.
If you can't make it to Exeter for showcase, you can catch the action live on HockeyTV. Also, be sure to follow the Wizards on Twitter, for updates throughout the event.
