BEDFORD, MA -- With rinks reopening in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the East Coast Wizards will return to action tonight, with a home matchup against the Walpole Express. Tonight's contest kicks off a home-and-home series that will wrap-up tomorrow morning at 11:00 am at Rodman Arena. Entering the weekend, the Wizards are 3-1-0 through their first four games to date, while the Express come in with a record of 5-4-1, and riding a five-game winning streak.
"It will be good just to get back out there," said EHL head coach and general manager Kory Falite. "I know our guys are itching to get started again, and we do so with a good challenge this weekend. It's always a close contest when we play these guys [Express]."
Looking back on the regular season series from this past year, and the Wizards dropped the first matchup between the two teams by the final score of 4-1. However, East Coast came away victorious in all three of the remaining matchups, by scores of 3-1, 4-2, and 4-0.
