BEDFORD, MA -- The busy stretch continues for the East Coast Wizards, as today at 12:30 pm, the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) team begins a home-and-home series with the Valley Junior Warriors. Entering the two-game set, the Wizards own a record of 5-7-0 through 12 total games, while the Warriors are 2-10-0 through 12 games of their own.
"I think it's safe to say that each team would love to pick up a pair of wins heading into the holiday," said EHL head coach and general manager Kory Falite. "We just have to take it 1 game at a time, 1 period at a time, and 1 shift at a time. If we do that for a full 60 minutes each day, the results should follow."
The New England Conference rivals have faced-off just once so far this season, a matchup that took place back on Saturday, November 14th. While the Wizards never trailed in the contest, the Warriors refused to go down lightly, in what finished as a 5-4 victory for East Coast.
