BEDFORD, MA -- The East Coast Wizards have reached their final big push leading up to the holiday break, and the end of the 2020 calendar year in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). Starting today at Noon against the Seahawks Hockey Club, the East Coast Wizards will hit the ice for eight total games over the next 14 days. As the team enters this busy stretch with an overall mark of 5-11-0, that record will include 24 total games when the holidays roll around.
"It's definitely going to be tough " said EHL head coach and general manager Kory Falite. "We've obviously gone through our fair share of ups and downs throughout the year, but now we have a chance right in front of us to put together a solid stretch that we can feel good about heading into 2021."
Included in the upcoming schedule are three games apiece with the Seahawks and the Railers Junior Hockey Club, along with a chance at revenge against a Walpole Express team that swept a home-and-home series with the Wizards back in October.
Half of the upcoming games will take place in the friendly home confines of The Edge Sports Center, while the other half will send the team out to Worcester twice, and down to Walpole and the Cape for a single matchup each.
If you can't make it to any of the upcoming games, be sure to follow the box scores at EasternHockeyLeague.org, and watch the matchups live on HockeyTV.
