EHL Team Set for Home-and-Home Series

BEDFORD, MA -- The East Coast Wizards get back to work today and tomorrow with a home-and-home series against the Western Mass Chiefs. Following the ever-changing state regulations and closures due to COVID, the Chiefs relocated to Massachusetts and the Central Division for the balance of the 2020-21 season. Heading into today's matchup, the Wizards own a record of 12-16-1, while the Chiefs counter with an 11-10-4 mark of their own.

"We're excited about the challenge," said Wizards head coach and general manager Kory Falite. "Quite frankly, we don't really know these guys. We obviously played them back at the beginning of October, but that feels like forever ago at this point."

As Falite mentioned, the Wizards and Chiefs faced-off in the team's 2nd game of the season, back on October 1st.  Andrew Stefura scored his team's first two goals of the contest, and then assisted on Ryan Webb's game-winning goal in overtime. Obviously a lot has happened since then, and each team is now battling each other for playoff positioning in the Central Division standings.

If you can't make it to today or tomorrow's games, be sure to follow the box scores at EasternHockeyLeague.org, and watch the matchups live on HockeyTV.
