EHL Team Takes on RoughRiders in Connecticut

BEDFORD, MA -- The Wizards will put their 4-game winning streak on the line this evening against the Connecticut Roughriders. The Wizards currently find themselves in 3rd place in the Boston Division and 4th place overall in the North Conference with a record of 20-13-0. The RoughRiders are coming into tonight's matchup having won 2 games in a row and are fresh off a 5-3 win against the Connecticut Oilers. They currently sit in 1st place in the Central Division with a record of 19-13-1.

"We're looking forward to this matchup," said Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer. "The boys are excited, and are hoping to turn the tables after they got us in the October Showcase."

The game is scheduled for a 5:30pm puck drop and marks the final time the 2 teams will play in the regular season. The Wizards fell to the Roughriders in the first matchup by the score of 3-2 back at the October Showcase, despite outshooting their opponent 33-14. During the Wizards’s winning streak, Devin Panzeca has tallied 5 goals and 4 assists (9 points) in just 4 games, and recently scored the overtime game-winning goal against the Total Athletic Seahawks on Wednesday.
