EHL Team Heads to Pennsylvania for Final Showcase

BEDFORD, MA -- The fourth and final EHL Showcase is set to start this weekend at Ice Line Quad Rinks in West Chester, PA. The Wizards will matchup against a pair of Mid-Atlantic Division opponents who each beat them previously this season.

"We're looking forward to this weekend," said Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer. "Of course we have had these 2 games circled on our calendar for a little bit, since each team beat us in our building. The guys know to just focus game to game, shift to shift, and the results will follow."

On Friday, the Wizards will face-off against the Philadelphia Revolution and this will mark the final time that the 2 teams will play in the regular season. The Wizards fell to the Revolution 5-3 back in November, despite out shooting them 33-31. The Revolution are coming into the game on a 2-game winning streak and are fresh off a 5-2 win against the Philadelphia Little Flyers. Friday’s game is scheduled for a 12:00pm puck drop over on rink #3 at Ice Line.

The squad will return to action the very next day to face-off against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights. The Knights are coming into the showcase red hot having won 6 games in a row. Saturday’s game is scheduled for a 2:00pm, over on rink #3 once again.

Catch all the action live on HockeyTV, and be sure to follow the Wizards on social media (FacebookTwitter, and Instagram), for all the latest news and updates.
