EHL Team Plays First Home Game at 1:00pm

BEDFORD, MA -- The East Coast Wizards are set to hit the ice for their first home game of the season. The puck drop for this afternoon's game against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights is scheduled for 1:00pm. In 2 games against the Knights last season, the Wizards finished with a record of 0-1-1. If you can't make it to The Edge this afternoon, you can catch the game live on HockeyTV.

"We're ready and we're excited," said Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer. "The boys are feeling good despite us losing our first game of the year. We know we can play better, and hopefully we can pick up our first win this afternoon."

As Meyer mentioned, the Wizards battled in a 5-3 loss in their season opener against the New England Wolves. Isaac Leslie, Herman Lundback, and Tim Usalis all tallied their first goals of the season, while James Nash netted a pair of assists to his name.

Be sure to follow the Wizards on Twitter, for updates throughout today's matchup.
