EHL Team Returns to Action on the Cape

DENNIS, MA -- The East Coast Wizards return to action this morning at 10:45am, for a divisional showdown with the Seahawks Hockey Club. This is the first meeting of the season with the Seahawks, as the Wizards won all 6 matchups between the 2 teams last year. Entering today's matchup, the Wizards own a record of 11-6-1, which is good for 3rd place in their division and 5th place overall in the New England Conference. On the flip side, the Seahawks are 12-3-4, and currently hold down the top spot in the division, which would make them the #2 seed if the playoffs started today.

"The boys are excited to get back to work," said Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer. "It was a nice break for the team, and now we return with a chance to make up some ground in the standings."

As Meyer mentioned, the Wizards had a lot of time off between games. Heading into today's matchup, the team has won 3 straight games, due in large part to a sweep at the November Showcase in Haverhill.

If you can't make it to Dennis for the game, you can catch the action live on HockeyTV. Also, be sure to follow the Wizards on Twitter, for updates throughout today's matchup.
