EHL Teams Goes for 2nd Straight Win Against the 87s

BEDFORD, MA -- The East Coast Wizards hit the ice again this evening, for the back-end of a two-game set with the New Jersey 87s. The Wizards never trailed yesterday afternoon, on their way to a 4-2 victory over the 87s. The matchup was the first-ever meeting between the two organizations. Heading into today's contest the Wizards own a mark of 16-9-1, while the 87s currently sit at 22-6-0.

"That was a fun game to be a part of yesterday," said Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer. "Obviously the empty-net goal at the end makes things look a little different, but that was truly a one-goal hockey game. I expect the 87s to come out flying tonight, and our guys have to make sure they are ready for it."

Be sure to check back in tomorrow, for a full weekend recap of the two-game series.

If you can't make it Bedford for tonight's matchup, you can catch the action live on HockeyTV. Also, be sure to follow the Wizards on Twitter, for updates throughout today's matchup.
