EHL Team Seeks Revenge Over Conference Rival

BEDFORD, MA -- The East Coast Wizards get back to work for the first time since their weekend sweep of the New Jersey 87s. Today's matchup puts the Wizards up against the Valley Junior Warriors in a conference matchup scheduled for 12:00pm. The Warriors won the first meeting between these two teams by the score of 4-3 in overtime. Today's matchup puts the rivals up against each other for the final time during the 2018-19 regular season, as the Warriors enter this one with a mark of 11-12-4, and the Wizards counter at 17-9-1.

"This should be a good matchup," said Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer. "We need to make sure we get off to a fast start, and build off of the momentum from this past weekend."

Following today's meeting with the Warriors, the Wizards will stay home and play host to the Connecticut Chiefs on Friday. These two conference games are part of a six-day stretch that puts the Wizards on the ice for four total contests.
