Offensive Outburst Leads to Victory #2

BEDFORD, MA -- The East Coast Wizards picked up their second win of the season on Friday, as they knocked off the New England Wolves by the score of 6-3. The Wizards came flying out of the gate, and carried a 4-1 lead with them into the first intermission. The Wolves began to make a comeback effort, but that was quickly squashed by the home team, extending the Wizards winning streak to 2 games.

"I was very happy with the way we played in the 1st and 3rd periods," said Wizards head coach and general manager Freddy Meyer. "We clearly took our foot off the gas a little bit in the 2nd, and that almost came back to get us. Our group is definitely still learning and developing, and one key lesson from today's game is that you can never let up."

EHL Team Hosts Conference Opponent at 1:00pm

BEDFORD, MA -- The East Coast Wizards return to the ice this afternoon at 1:00pm, for a New England Conference matchup against the New England Wolves. This is the second and final meeting between the two teams during the regular season, as the Wolves won the season opener this past Friday by the score of 5-3. For the Wizards, they will look to build off of the momentum from Wednesday's win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights.

"This will be a good one this afternoon,” said Wizards head coach and general manger Freddy Meyer. "The boys are pretty excited to get back out there, and we would love to make it 2 in a row before the team gets a couple days off."

The Wizards don't return to the ice next until Wednesday the 26th, when they travel to take on the Walpole Express at Rodman Arena. It would feel great for the team, to have won a couple in a row before that matchup.

If you can't make it to The Edge this afternoon, you can catch the game live on HockeyTV. Also, be sure to follow the Wizards on Twitter, for updates throughout today's matchup.
